Commercial Solar Energy is a division of Coffs Solar Energy, a business established in 2010 with the objective of designing and installing high-quality, reliable and cost effective solar solutions for our local Coffs Coast community.

As we have grown, our clientele has expanded over a number of years to include a diverse range of property owners – homeowners and investment properties in our suburbs, new homes being constructed in our growing community, retirement village residents, businesses located in industrial sheds and shops, local schools, institutions and community organisations.

Commercial Solar Energy, as a division of Coffs Solar Energy, is proud to be a CEC Approved Solar Retailer. This voluntary accreditation most importantly includes a code of conduct that we have signed, committing our business to operating with the customer’s best interests in mind at all times. We are one of only two genuinely local (and therefore accountable) solar businesses in our region who have signed up to this consumer-focused and ethically-based business code.

He explained everything to me in a really easy to understand manner. He knows his stuff. And the team who came and did the actual installation were also just great. Just had 10 additional panels & a battery installed. Cody & the installers did an excellent job. The office staff were very helpful. Mark should be very proud of his team, I would highly recommend them. 👍 I now have had the unit for a month & have not taken any power from the grid. The battery quickly charges in the morning so we run the house all night. Brilliant.

We had another (foolishly) local Solar company install our system in September and it never ran correctly from the day of installation (it only generated half the kw that the other company guaranteed we would generate). We contacted Coffs Solar to look into the fault and the service from the Coffs Solar team in both diagnosing the issue, providing remote technical support and then promptly sending a technician out to solve the problem all within a few days. We now have a fully functional solar system thanks to Mark and the team at Coffs Solar. Thank you.

When you want the best in quality, professional installation and importantly SERVICE, there is only 1 company that is worth dealing with, COFFS SOLAR ENERGY. It has been a couple of months now and I can honestly say everything that Mark proposed that the new system would deliver, it has and more. Installation team were on time, precise, and very professional. Back up service and communication was outstanding and the performance has been better than expected. Understanding the viability of installing a solar system is the first step .The biggest impediment to this is who can you trust to provide this information.Mark was able to demystify this for me with a easy to follow blog which explained the science and the cost reward benefits.The team at Coffs Solar are professional and their installation team are first class.From the start to the finish everything they said they said they would do did, when they said the would. .I have no hesitation in recommending Mark and his team.

For me the decision to go Solar was an easy one, but the solution was not. Over the nearly year long process Coffs Solar had all the answers and were always prompt, courteous and efficient. My experience as a Computer Engineer with experience in Battery Backup systems for large data centres gave me insight into the technical challenges to be faced. Coffs Solar was not the only company I talked with along the way, but when it came to the crunch with difficult questions, they made sure they had the technical aspects sorted.To begin with, the site suffered a LOT of shade intrusion from large trees. With advice from Coffs Solar the worst offenders were cut out. The next challenge was that the main house roof had limited North facing roof area which was already occupied by the Solar Collector for Hot Water. Coffs Solar proposed a solution consisting of East and West facing Panels on the main roof area. Along the way this was modified to a two inverter system with East-West facing panels on the house and North Facing panels on the shed.When it came time to do the installation, the Coffs Solar install teams were efficient, courteous and professional. The install took a day and a half and was all completed with a minimum of fuss and great attention to detail.Special thanks to Nick for bearing the brunt of all my questions along the way, and also to Mark for putting together a great team. I believe that the end product is something that Coffs Solar should be very proud of.
